We’re looking for a Client Support Associate candidate to:

 

Join our talented team at the startup and help transform the world of education. We need a passionate, self-driven, full-time associate who is excited to support a fast-growing software startup company. You’ll get to interact with our customers daily (learners, students, administrators, professors, etc.), help solve their challenges, and ensure a positive experience using our software platform. There will be significant opportunities to grow in your role. You’ll receive mentorship from successful professionals in the fields of Education, Client Support, Software Development, Sales, and more. This job is fully remote and the work hours are 9am-6pm EST Mon-Fri.

 

Responsibilities include:

 

  • Answering customer support tickets and technical troubleshooting issues with a diverse customer base  (including learners, IT administrators, professors, and more).

  • Reporting bugs and communicating user feedback to Developer teams to avoid recurrence by addressing root causes.

  • Working closely with Sales and Community Success Consultants to support client needs.

  • Propose and write new product support guides or recommend improvements that enable customer support self-service.

 

 

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills (English fluency).

  • Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems are required.

  • Some experience with data analysis, query writing (e.g., in SQL), or basic knowledge of a programming language is required.

  • A high level of empathy for people is required. The ability to listen and understand their experiences is a key to positive customer interactions.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to learn quickly.

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher is preferred.  If not, successful performance in a similar role will be considered.

  • Experience working in education or previous experience working at a software company is a plus.

  • Knowledge of Datomic, SQL, Linear, and LTI Integrations, is a plus.

 

 

Benefits

  • The base salary is expected to be $1200-$1600, paid monthly.

  • The position will be as a contract employee.  Though not contractually obligated, in most cases our contract employees have paid time off and take paid holidays.
